One Hundred Days of Rewilding
A Radical Return to Vitality, Untamed Joy and Unshakeable Self-Trust
You know that feeling when you get a glimpse of you, unfiltered?
Dancing in the kitchen. Cackling with friends. Walking home under the moon and remembering you have a heart made of starstuff.
But then the weekend ends. Monday comes.
There are emails, meetings, deadlines.
And that gorgeous, untamed part of you gets packed away.
The weekends away, the gigs, the nights out, the one more drink — they feel like portals back to her… but only temporarily.
There is a freedom that doesn’t have to disappear by morning.
One Hundred Days of Rewilding is the doorway back to your aliveness — your instincts, your knowing, your WANTING… always.
Simple isn’t always easy…
For one hundred nights, Freddy sat at the end of her bed and practised a healing protocol. The protocol itself was simple. The real work was everything her mind threw up to stop her: Is this working? What's the point? If anybody saw me they'd think I was crazy...
Choosing to show up instead of scrolling was the work. Trusting it was working before there was any evidence ... was the work.
What began as a personal healing experiment became a book about self-trust, about slaying the scary stories that keep us stuck, and about coming back to yourself again and again.
This is a book about healing as liberation not domination. Not forcing a predetermined outcome, but creating the conditions for your body to change in its own time. It weaves together Daoist qigong, expressive arts and twenty years of therapeutic work.

INSIDE THE BOOK
Draw. Dance. Dialogue.
After being diagnosed with fibroids and adenomyosis, Freddy was a bit baffled about what to do next. Instead of catastrophising, that evening when she got home, she reached for her journal and trusty Caran d'Ache pastels. She drew what she was facing, moved with it, then spoke to it. Those three acts became the three parts of the book, each one an act of rewilding in itself.
1
DRAW
Perception and diagnosis. The images from past and present that hold us back, and how old stories can become new ones.
2
DANCE
Experimenting and moving. Reclaiming the animal instinct and the wild mustang heart that desks and screens train out of us.
3
DIALOGUE
Meaning-making. We start with a pilgrimage to Our Lady of the Pillar at Chartres and track Freddy's changing relationship with herself, Spirit and with the animals she shares her life with.
